THE BEATLES~LET IT BE~RARE USA ORIG 1970 APPLE 1ST PRESS MAGGIE MAE (P.D.)
The Beatles~Let It Be~Rare USA First Press Original 1970 Apple Records AR 34001 Stereo Red Apple Label with "MFD. BY APPLE" on one side. This is first USA pressing with "Maggie Mae" credits only "P.D."(Second pressing credits the song to "P.D. arr. Lennon, McCartney, Harrison, Starkey"). Thick cardboard original matte gatefold cover (American Style). The front cover has a small discounted price sticker. Original Apple Records white paper inner sleeve in fair condition. Clean, wear-free labels. Thick heavy vinyl pressing with Matrix Number in trail-off vinyl (dead wax) ends JS-17,500-13 #2 Bell Sound sf Phil+Ronnie / JS-17,501-16 #4 Bell Sound sf Phil+Ronnie . The vinyl has "Bell Sound"/ Sam Feldman's mastering initials "SF" / "Phil+Ronnie" (for Phil Spector and his wife, singer Ronnie Spector) etched into the dead wax. All of these markings serve as a proof of the authenticity of First Pressing. This is an original, authentic, first USA pressing. Rare to see a genuine original copy like this!
This album is from my private collection and has been in storage for a long time. I do not have a record player to check sound quality but the records are graded as best I can without actually test playing each one.
