Description:

An original Beatles’ 1964- 7 inch record Ep titled (Long Tall Sally), in excellent condition.  A Parlophone 45rpm record with excellent black and yellow text labels with 4 prong push-out centres, first issue EP record with The Parlophone Co Ltd label text on rim, and sold in the UK and first published text on label.  I have visually examined and play tested the record on a good quality record deck, the record has excellent audio sound quality. The front laminated record sleeve is in excellent condition. The labels are in excellent condition very little spindle wear.

Sleeve

The flip-back picture sleeve is in excellent condition front laminated sleeve, no writing very minor signs of wear for a 50’s years old record.

Label

Parlophone black & yellow label with silver text, KT tax code on record side 1 and KT tax code on both sides of the run off grooves. The label has The Parlophone Co Ltd & Sold in UK and First Published 1964 text on label, indicating first issue record. The labels have no writing and minor spiral tails on the 4 prong push out centre, an excellent condition label.

Record

Side: 1   Record is in excellent to near mint condition, some light paper marks from being withdrawn out of its sleeve.  Record retains in shiny black lustre, has excellent audio sound quality performance.

Side: 2 Record is in excellent to near mint condition, some light paper marks from being withdrawn out of its sleeve.  Record retains its shiny black lustre, as excellent audio sound quality performance.

In conclusion this Beatles record is an excellent example for a 50’s year old Beatles EP comes from a private collection, now selling to a discerning collector of Beatles collectable records from the halcyon days of the sixties.

The Record Grading

MINT:  The record itself is in brand new condition, I only grade sealed records in mint condition. The cover and any extra items are also unused in As NEW condition...

NEAR MINT:  A nearly perfect record, with only the slightest cosmetic flaw – no audible defect, Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects.

EXCELLENT:  The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality.  The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional scratch.  Labels may be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers (or their residue) attached.
