Description
On Parlophone 45R 4949 , The Beatles first hit, a first pressing, matrices : 7XCE17144-1N, 7XCE17145- 1N. It has 'Ringo on drums & no tambourine version' . It has 'Made in Great Britain' on both sides and the 'WT' tax stamp on side 2.( NEVER SEEN THAT BEFORE) The vinyl has a number of light surface marks & a slight kink on the edge of the disc( see photo) not a chip & is on the run in, so not affecting play. The sound quality is great, Mono, as it was meant to be heard. The label on side one has a name written in biro, see photo.
It is housed in the original type 'C' sleeve.
From my own collection. All test played on a Hi-Fi deck using M75 ED Type 2 cartridge & stylus tracking at I.5 gms. Packed in card mailers with stiffeners & posted in a plain sleeve , with picture sleeves etc. separated.
All records graded according to Record Collector guidelines.

On looking closely, I have found that on the 'B' side ,apart from the 'WT' there are other letters, looks like an 'o' at 12 o'clock & a 'z' at 6 o'clock.
