Description
THE BEATLES LP "YELLOW SUBMARINE". Issued in the UK in 1969 on the Apple label Cat No. PMC7070. Dark green label with "Sold in UK" text and XEX715-1 & XEX716-1 matrix numbers denoting 1st pressing.
Please note - the vinyl is far from not mint so read the description carefully!
The laminated flipback sleeve is in VERY GOOD condition - has no writing, no tears, no splits, no stickers - it does have some light discolouration to rear of sleeve and some edge creasing - mainly to spine - and some light corner creasing. This is the sleeve which has red lines above and below the text.
The vinyl is very marked - largely surface marks - but there is a serious long scratch on the last track on Side 1 (All You Need Is Love) such that the stylus skips multiple times rendering this track unplayable. The rest of the album plays very well with only a little crackle here and there.
I think that the sleeve itself is certainly usable should you be needing a better one, or even in this state the vinyl, being the rarer mono version, might suffice until a better copy comes along.
All records and CDs are thoroughly played to assess condition in addition to a visual inspection.
