This is the scarce 2nd UK Export Press of ‘Let It Be’ by The Beatles. This press has the PPCS 7096 Parlophone sleeve and the early 3U/2U matrix Apple label vinyl. It is complete with the original plain inner sleeve.
The vinyl is in Very Good+ condition. The vinyl has a sensational jet black gloss, every track looks superb. There are no significant signs of play at all, just a few of lightest, very faint marks. The label is superb. The dark green is solid, the white is extremely bright and the text is sharp. There is NO spindle wear.
The sound quality is Excellent. The vinyl lies completely flat on the turntable and the sound is exceptionally rich and vibrant. There is excellent clarity and audio separation, just very brief moments of the very slightest background hiss, but this is very faint and certainly does not spoil the enjoyment of this album at any point. It sounds sensational.
The Garrod & Lofthouse Parlophone laminated sleeve is in Near Mint condition. The laminate has a stunning mirrored shine, the colours are vivid and the whole of the sleeve is completely solid and flat. The spine is very firm with clear text. The back cover is also exceptionally clean and bright and the Parlophone logo is sharp.
