THE BEATLES Let It Be ORIGINAL FIRST EDITION 1970 with the GET BACK BOOK SLIP COVER, BOOK, VINYL ALBUM with the red apple and black inner sleeve
This is a West Germany First Edition from 1970 (The book is the "printed in England" one) It has the same contents as the First UK Edition from 1970. Only the German version had a "black inner" sleeve for the Vinyl
Everything is 100% fully original from 1970 - The black inner sleeve The book, The record, The sleeve and the outer slipcase PLEASE NOTE: There are no trays for this set - it is just the book, album and the slip case ( as pictured in the images ) The condition grades as FAIR to Very Good+ and is as described as follows:
OUTER SLIPCASE: Printed and made in Germany FULLY LAMINATED 1970 original Grades as FAIR A lot of wear to all corners, light rips to the openings, Wear to all seams small bits of laminate damage, Long crease on the front check all the images for more detail
BOOK: Grades as VG+ Really nice condition, completely intact inside pages are near excellent the fully laminated cover has a small crease bottom right corner (check image 12 & 13) There is a long crease on the back and a little edge wear (check image 11) Light creases to the corners of the first few pages (images 14, 15 &16) and just light handling wear. Spine is perfect no damage at all NICE CLEAN BOOK
THE RECORD SLEEVE: Laminated with the red apple on rear FAIR condition - a lot of creases wear to all corners wear to the opening which is curling a little wear to all seams and spine (check images for further detail) THE VINYL: Side 1 visually grades G scratches, scuffs, marks Plays good with crackle There is a light skip towards the end of track 3 still plays great and great audio sound Side 2 visually grades G scratches, scuffs, marks Plays good with crackle - fair bit of surface crackle on tracks 1, 2 and 3 There is a stick on track 2. THE LABELS: Nice - Just a sticker residue on SIDE 2 label THE BLACK INNER SLEEVE: Grades as VG+ near excellent (no spit seams) Nice
To sum up not a too bad copy, just missing the trays and there is no unwanted writing anywhere and the slip cover is still solid and not falling to pieces - check all images carefully for the defects !
