CONDITION REPORT & PHOTO GALLERY

AUDIO VERY GOOD(+); this has been completely play graded from start to finish at volume and both sides played through really well well without jumping or sticking. The audio was bright, crisp and clear in the main some light unintrusive background in parts + the occasional light click. The record delivered a nice sound and was very enjoyable to listen to.
VINYL (VISUAL): VG/VERY GOOD(+); the vinyl looks nice and has retained a wonderful shine with just light surface marks/hairlines but nothing worrying at all. Both labels are clean and show just general signs of use.
RED APPLE SLEEVE: EXCELLENT condition overall with just a a very light disc impression (almost impossible to avoid with this sleeve) and a tiny bit of rubbing. A small amount of laminate 'blister' and creasing towards the spine on the front. Looks great.
BOX & GET BACK BOOK: The outer slipcase looks very nice overall with some minor laminate creasing and rubbing + a little edge wear. The fragile outer card tray is the original and is in very presentable condition on the whole with creasing to the flaps + some edge wear and general signs of age. There are a few small splits to the folds + a small light stain to the interior (see photos).
Finally, the Get Back book is in super condition. Mild laminate rubbing to the cover + a small bit of isolated light creasing and no loose pages. The pages show hardly any sign of use at all. Grades EXCELLENT.
Please note that the inner tray is a new reproduction which is completely faithful to the original design.

GRADING

Unless otherwise stated, all of my records have been play tested before listing using a Rega P3-24 turntable with Ortofon 2M Blue cartridge & stylus. I describe honestly and accurately but please bear in mind that I am only human and such things are always subjective. I tend to grade records conservatively and believe that my feedback speaks for itself.

Please take confidence from the fact that I have been a collector myself for over 20 years (please check my feedback as a buyer) and know only too well how disappointing it is to receive an inaccurately described record.

I also grade visually using a strong halogen lamp.

I use the Record Collector grading system as shown below.

POSTAGE / SHIPPING

I WILL ALWAYS COMBINE SHIPPING FOR MULTIPLE PURCHASES AND OFFER A DISCOUNT. PLEASE ASK FOR A QUOTE IN ADVANCE.

I post worldwide and pack all records in custom made (stiff) card mailers and add extra packaging inside to ensure a safe delivery. I will provide a protective polythene sleeve and the record and inner will be removed from the outer sleeve to prevent seam splits in transit. I want your record to get to you in the condition that it was when it left me.

For any records that come with printed inner sleeves, I will also provide an additional plain inner.

As a general rule, shipping will be discounted ie. I lose money on the costs of buying my packaging. I do not profit from this; please remember that my costs are not simply those shown on the stamp!

Shipping rates quoted are valid up to a total sale value of £2500 within the UK and £250 for overseas buyers. Overseas buyers please note that any item or items with a total value of £20 or more must be sent by International Signed For with no exceptions at the rate shown. Please ask for a quote or wait for my invoice if the final sale is more than £250.

CUSTOMS DECLARATIONS FOR OVERSEAS ORDERS: Please note that for overseas orders from outside the EU I am obliged to complete a customs declaration and must enter the true value of the package's contents on the declaration. It is the BUYER'S responsibility to ensure that all import duties are known and paid.

Please send me a message if anything is unclear and I will be happy to help.

RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING SYSTEM

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.

POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
