Issue : UK Let It Be Box Set and Advertising Apple Insert Poster
This is the UK 'Let It Be' Box Set by The Beatles. This press has the original laminated Garrod & Lofthouse box sleeve, the original tray, (the inner tray is missing) and the original glossy 'Get Back' book. The record has the earliest press 2U/2U matrix, the earliest mother, the original dark green apple labels and laminated red Apple Garrod & Lofthouse sleeve. However what makes this issue really special is it is complete with the rare Apple advertising inner poster.
The record is in Very Good condition. The vinyl has a bright gloss, with a couple of marks and a number of light marks on both sides. On playing the sound is rich and clear but there is light noise and a few clicks, however it plays through extremely well with no jumps or skips and no distortion. The dark green Apple labels are exceptionally bright, the white is crisp and the black text is sharp. There is only the slightest spindle wear. It comes complete with a black matt inner sleeve.
The red Apple cover is in Good condition. The laminate has a bright gleam, the colours are vivid and the black is bold. There is some edge wear and laminate creases. There is also some black pen over the edges. The sleeve is still solid.
The Garrod & Lofthouse Box sleeve is in Excellent condition. The laminate has a sensational mirrorlike gloss, the colours are vivid and the pictures are all exceptionally sharp. It is completely intact, with just a couple of very light laminate creases and very light edge wear. The tray is firm and solid with some slight edge wear.
The rare advertising poster is clean and bright. The white has no discolouration, the colours are superb, there are a couple of light creases but it still has its original bright gloss.
The 'Get Back' book is bright, with a few loose pages at the front. It is still very firm and it still looks good, although there are some small white marks. The laminate has a stunning bright shine and the edges are very firm. The pages are all clean and there is no discolouration.
