THE BEATLES Long Tall Sally UK PARLOPHONE EP 1N/1N 1st Sold In The UK TEXT etc
The Beatles, Long Tall Sally.
Original 1964 UK Parlophone Records 7" mono EP housed in picture sleeve, GEP 8913.
Earliest issue evidenced by capitalized Parlophone text rims and "Recording First Published" and "Sold in UK" text to labels. The KT tax code is not embossed to the labels but rather stamped to the dead wax/run-offs. Earliest 1N/1N matrix suffixes.
Vinyl visually a strong VG. Surfaces are still glossy but display some light hairline scuff marks. Spindle wear is light and not excessive.
Plays VG plus. Some run-in, run-out and separator band crackle, but the actual tracks play near EX with the exception of the crackle straying a touch into the intro of track B1.
Labels are clean and undefaced and still have a good gloss.
Sleeve a strong VG plus. Front and rear panels are still bright and clean. Free of loss, stickers, inscriptions etc. A touch of ringwear impression both sides. A couple of small air pockets to the front laminate else the laminate is very clean, tidy and unpeeled. Rear backflaps are intact and tidy. A small closed nick to centre of rear entry side, else entry side is not unduly worn or feathered.
Although not mint, this is still a nice example and has survived in better condition than is the norm.
