THE BEATLES – Love Me Do (Album Version) c/w P.S. I Love You
Rare October 2012 Mispressing with the wrong mix of 'Love Me Do' ("Alan White Version") and incorrect catalogue number of 45-R 4714 on the B side label. The text is a 'dull grey' rather than the lighter silver of the more common re-pressing with the corrected A side.
A Side Matrix number: BC88258 - 01A1
Exclusive UK 50th Anniversary re-issue, which should have featured the 'Original Single Version' with ringo on drums. Only the first pressing of Love Me Do originally contained this version, with the more common version being the LP version with Alan White On drums, and Ringo relegated to tambourine. This is the first pressing of this anniversary disc featuring the wrong version of 'Love Me Do' which was hastily withdrawn & re-called by EMI under orders from Apple. The correct version was issued a month later.
