VINYL CONDITION : NEAR MINT - visually stunning with no marks to the tracks whatsoever ... there is a whisper-light non-sounding mark to the run off of the A-side. Playgrades fantastically on both sides without any background noise whatsoever (sparing that satisfying hum that one gets from these early EMI discs on some equipment). This is without doubt the best condition early Beatles item that we have ever handled. MATRIX numbers 7XCE-17144-1N / 7XCE-17145-IN with ZT1 tax code (the earliest) to each side (denoting that this copy was pressed between April and Novemebr 1962). Armore & Beechwood credits. This single has been sourced from an outstanding collection of late 50s/ealry 60s singles - all of which are in similar outstanding condition - this copy is entirely fresh to the market .....

SLEEVE CONDITION : NEAR MINT - Original colour printed die-cut company Parlophone Type C sleeve with geometric pattern to front and details of Parlaphone album release to reverse. corners are sharp - colours are bright and fresh - the single having been stored away in an airtight box for many years - has probably only seen daylight for the first time in 30 years within the last month!! As good as they get ... although we NEVER describe a record or its sleeve as being mint .. on this occasion we very nearly changed our policy!.

MINT : (we don't believe in the existense of MINT records - you will NEVER find a record listed here at a higher grade than NEAR MINT) - The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality.The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint (but who knows ... if it is sealed!!)
EXCELLENT : The record shows some signs of having been played, but there isvery little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD : The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items,without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD : We do not bother to sell records that are in less than Very Good condition.

PACKAGING

Items are removed from their outer sleeves and supplied in a brand new protective outer sleeve. The record is cleaned on a professional cleaning machine where necessary and supplied in a brand new unused poly-lined inner sleeve along with the original inner. Items are shipped in highest quality extra thick mailers with at least two cardboard stiffeners. All items are fully insured free of charge.
