Description
I have collected records since I was very young, however Iincreasingly I have realised that I have far too many, and soI have been slowly trying to rationalise my extensive collection over the years, I have sold many major rarities over the years, from major BEATLES and 60s rarities, through PUNK and PROG ROCK, CLASSICAL and BLUES. Basically I've had alot of very rare records and in dribs and drabs have sold them off. I've never had negative feedback, and had many repeat customers.
I will only post completely insured and tracked.
Here we have an interesting item! As the BEATLES' fame spread across the globe their recordstarted getting pressed and released in every corner of the world. Oneof the places they did quite well in was India, however,it was mostly the latest UK releases that were released there, with a few rare album tracks thrown in for good measure! However, by the time they started releasing in India, Love Me Do was definitely already passed, but a few ardent fans wanted to buy older hits too, and so in 1964 they pressed and released the Beatles first single in India, but with the publishing date as 1964, now whether this was an innocent accident,or was a tactic to make the record buying folk think that this was a new single, I don't know. This also uses the initial UK single version of the song (with Ringo on drums and no tambourine version), rather than the LP, EP, and 70s reissue versions with Andy White.
Record Condition: G+ Plenty of surface marks causing a dullening of the reflection when angled into direct strong light, a few slighlymore significant ones, it plays through fine, but with background static, but just remember that this is the Rare Ringo On Drums version, and the crackles seem less important!
Label Condition: VG- Generally nice labels,a little worn a very hard to spot name in dark ball point pen on the black printed surface at about 1 o'clock on the B-side, but other than that,just a little bit of ring-wear, absolutely no stickers, tears, stains etc. Nice!
