A 1967 first UK pressing from the brilliant Beatles, who were prolific in the recording studio at the time - and due to their retirement from touring and playing live, they concentrated on recording. This double EP is among their best work, though the film for tv was generally lambasted by the reviewers.
It was used as a distraction by the four lads, from the shock of losing their manager Brian Epstein to apparent suicide. They had been on a Buddhist retreat sojourn at the time. Paul concocted the idea - unscripted with no tangible storyline - and off they went!
It's an essential package of The BEATLES releases.
Outstanding - and in BEAUTIFUL playing shape too.
CONDITION;
The VINYL grades NEAR MINT.
The discs have top sheen, NO problems and really DELIGHTFUL sound! (LUXURIOUS through headphones).
Labels are in NEAR MINT CONDITION, no pen, stickers or tears. Very nice.
Th LAMINATED COVER is VG++ due to a small corner wear. The front and back and pockets are very nice,
flat and clean. The cool colour/b&w booklet with blue lyrics centrefold is also lovely.
The original white inner sleeves are slightly damaged.
A VERY tidy example, and a real investment piece!
