Identification
This is the first UK LP pressing of Magical Mystery Tour, released nearly a decade after the original 1967 U.S. Capitol LP. In the UK, fans originally only had the 1967 double-EP set (mono and stereo) with a 24-page booklet. The full LP version was imported from the U.S. until EMI issued this official UK album in 1976.
This copy carries the very first lacquer cuts (-1/-1), confirming it is from the initial 1976 pressing run.
