THE BEATLES "MAGICAL MYSTERY TOUR"
UK 7" EP 1967 1st issue ORIGINAL 2 x discs + booklet - PARLOPHONE MMT1
This is a 1967 UK original with blue pages as the original issue booklet had, with cat. no. "MMT1 MONO" on the rear of the cover but the discs are an anomaly. Sides 1 + 2 [disc 1] show a cat. no. of SMMT-A1 for sides 1 + 2, meaning presumably the tracks are in stereo, different from the cat. no. for disc 2 - sides 3 + 4, which show MMT-B1 + the same for side 2 = MMT-B1 - these being for a mono recording. Runout matrix nos. = 1,1,1,1,
disc: vg signs of use. Side 4 has 2 feelable scratches, and sides 1, 2, + 3 have lighter scratches. [Record Collector gradings used throughout]. Labels are clean and unmarked. Side 2 has the "KT" tax code by the centre hole.
booklet: vg- the booklet has signs of general ageing, + stains in places, mainly the centre pages - ive tried to show that in the pics - no writing or tears or loose pages - all is intact. Spine has scuffs + ageing.
