Welcome to my auction for one of my "The Beatles" collectables.
On offer is a
"MEET THE BEATLES"
Stereo original Capitol pressing
A and B stampers in run out groove.
Scranton factory....number 3 on reverse of sleeve.
This is the first Album released by Capitol way back in January 1964,came out on Mono and the much harder to find Stereo
Capitol is the sister company to Parlophone and both are subsidiaries of EMI.
st 2047.....Heavy vinyl....
A1 AND B 4 IN RUN OUT GROOVE.
Sleeve in excellent condition both front and back,normally these early sleeves wore through at the bottom,this one has not!
spine top class ,all writing perfect..minute edge scuffing..
Back of the sleeve is just off white,has 3 next to RIAA
songs.

Blue inner sleeve great condition apart from a little split at the botton,album will come in a different sleeve,as not to wear the blue one out further.
Vinyl ex+ looked at it in direct sunlight today and its stunning,has a vew very light marks only seen in this light.some would grade n/m
Both labels are superb condition,clean,no writing,tape etc.
Fine spindle wear..hardly detectable.
I have added lots of photos,this way you can get a better look.
I still have lots to list in the next week.
This copy is from my own vast collection,as i have been a Beatles fan right from the early days...
No warping,lays flat,treated with T.L.C.
a great collectors record...
