THE BEATLES WHITE ALBUM PMC 7067/68. Matrix numbers: Side 1: XEX 709-1; Side 2: XEX 710-1; Side 3: XEX 711-1; Side 4: XEX 712-1.
RECORD/SLEEVE:
This is a great little copy of The Beatles' sprawling 1968 classic. It comes fresh with all original inserts (inc. poster and photos) and also includes the black inners. The vinyl are in great shape and have been well looked after, which is nice to see. The thick slabs of original vinyl have a great sheen and in normal light superb, with only the odd light mark visible. Under strong light this record looks super. It's a very hard one to grade because although there are a few light hairlines and the odd very small mark, it's still very clean looking under strong light. I will grade as VG+ but realistically they are very strong and close to if not EX (it would be EX- if I used the grade). Playback is superb: loud and clear, with only a little crackle during quieter moments.
The sleeve still holds up wonderfully well. It is still pretty white, so that's fantastic! However, it also looks very clean and doesn't have much corner/edge wear. There is, to the top left, a little damage which has been taped up (see pics) and although this is a shame, I promise it really doesn't stop this from being a nice sleeve. There are odd marks on the laminate and a few laminate creases but it still holds up as a great example. Again, this grades conservatively as VG+ but it's realistically one of the better sleeves you'll see.
