THE BEATLES: RARE 7” 45 RPM. MY BONNIE BACKED WITH THE SAINTS. CATALOG # NH24-673 POLYDOR ORANGE “SCROLL LABEL” AUSTRALIA 1964
Record plays nice and clean and grades at least VG **See vinyl guide below.
It was the Polydor label in Germany that introduced the Beatles to the world, when, in June of 1961, the Beatles were given a now-famous break into the music industry. Tony Sheridan was a British singer whose Elvis-like style appealed to the German public. Singing songs with which his German listeners were already familiar, Tony often arranged them into rock and roll numbers. Tony's session with the Beatles produced eight released numbers and several alleged outtakes. After the Beatles became popular in Australia, the Polydor label (which owned the rights to release the songs recorded in Hamburg, Germany) issued several singles. These were originally issued on the orange, white, and silver Polydor label with "Polydor" in a scroll. These singles did not sell as well as the Parlophone/Apple singles and consequently are more valuable today.
** M- Mint minus. near perfect/unmarked
VG+ Very good plus. Shows only minor wear, a clean, well cared for copy.
VG Very good Minor scuffs & scratches with the possibility of light surface noise between tracks or during quiet passages. But still quite nice.
VG- Very good minus. Shows some marks and will have some noticeable surface noise. But by no means trashed.

**PLEASE NOTE…
Due to heightened border protection and increased aviation security measures introduced by the US Government applying to inbound freight, there is likely to be delays of around 48 hours to parcels being sent to the US. These new security measures have increased cost implications associated with screening and transport, and as a result a $9 surcharge will be imposed on all parcels over 453g (16 ounces) destined for the US.
This surcharge has been introduced solely to cover the costs of the revised security arrangements required by the United States, and Australia Post does not profit from the surcharge.
