THE BEATLES - Magical Mystery Tour, Yellow Vinyl (1978) - UK Parlophone PCTC 255
I bought this for my personal collection circa 1980. I kept it stored continuously ever since in an outer plastic sleeve. I have never played the vinyl.
Notes about this release per Discogs: Specifically issued for export by Parlophone. Issued in gatefold sleeve with 24-page photo booklet stapled to inner spine. The stapling process left indentations on the outer spine which is common.
The Vinyl Matrix / Runouts: Side 1: YEX-959 PCTC 255 SIDE 1 HTM
- Side 2: YEX-960 PCTC 255 + SIDE 2
One odd thing about the yellow yinyl is that it has a "wavy lava" type of look to it, particularly when held up to the light. There are also a few specks and other artifacts that appear to be wthin the vinyl. I have not looked at this for over 40 years and I don't know if the vinyl has always looked like this or if that's something that's happened as it has aged while sitting on the shelf? Please look closely at the photos.
I will put a new outer plastic sleeve of the album cover and I will place the vinyl LP in new clear inner sleeves and include the original paper sleeve also when shipping.
Please see the photos. I am not a professional grader. I am using my best judgement per the Goldmine grading standards.
I will take extra care with packing and shipment. I will pack the LP outside of the gatefold jacket to avoid any possible seam damage during shipment. I will pack securely and ship in a Whiplash LP mailer.
