HMV EXCLUSIVE BLUE VINYL Capitol Records
2024 marks the 60th anniversary of the Beatles' first trip to the United States. They will pave the way for all other English rock groups, thus marking the starting point of the “British invasion”. As soon as they appeared on the Ed Sullivan Show in February 1964, the Beatles immediately excited American teenagers, unleashed passions, and Beatlemania set the entire country ablaze. Because they are behind the rest of the world, the leaders of Capitol US decide to release their own versions of the albums, changing the track lists, adding singles, removing others. They also create mono mixes different from those done at Abbey Road.
To celebrate the 60th anniversary of this incredible year, Universal Music is reissuing these albums on identical vinyl using the original master tapes.
This is the first time since the 1980s that these albums have been available on vinyl.
