THE BEATLES-MEET THE BEATLES-ORIGINAL US 1969 STEREO PRESS.
Bids are invited for this rare vinyl in magnificent condition.Cat No ST 2047-W9 # 1/ST 2047-X10...Meet the beatles was first issued in the US in Jan 1964.The capitol rainbow band had it's last press in 1969 before subsequent reissues were put out on the apple label.
I am grading this as a mint minus condition(the last capitol issue).
The vinyl shows no handling or any other marks on it.Even under intense light there is nothing to see apart from the odd whispy little hairline or two.The vinyl gleams like new and has lost none of it's original luster.I am pleased to report that after playing there are no jumps or skips,just the odd little dist pop.
The labels are in superb condition.Very little spindle wear.Super clean.
The cover is far stronger card used than we use in the UK.Ultra strong and very clean.The front surface is in top condition.No creases or ring wear and no loss of colour to the jet black surface apart for a couple of small scratch lines at the very bottom.The very top white strip above the pasted on picture has a couple of light brown dotted stains.The top and bottom edges are totally pristine.Unsplit and still white.The spine is really strong and readable.The opening edge is absolutely razor sharp and this proves just how little the record has been played.I am happy to grade the cover as excellent plus.
