The BEATLES official MEXICO original 1973 issue of the 2LP vinyl of BEATLES 1962-1966 (THE RED ALBUM) .....and the 2LP vinyl of BEATLES 1967-1970 (THE BLUE ALBUM). Selling TOGETHER!! They belong together!!! Made by CAPITOL, Mexico. These 2 Double LP sets contains 26+28 songs from their first 9 years of record releases!! The RED ALBUM has the hits from their first 5 years, and The BLUE ALBUM has the hits from the last 4 career years. Both set were produced by George Martin (except the final 3 tracks produced by Phil Spector). This album duo is lightly played and fully shiny, EX all 4 sides. There is a small manufacturing flaw in “Come Together” on BLUE side 4. I play tested it and there are a few clicks but it plays thru fine!! All other tracks are fully shiny, clean and lightly played! Mostly these songs are Beatles 45 Single tracks, but 19 are LP cuts. All are Studio tracks. This was The Beatles and US Capitol’s first try at a Greatest Hits / Best of set! Soon enough came 20 Greatest Hits and eventually One! (With 27 songs). But This set has The Beatles “best” 54 Hits, all still sound so fresh, with Incredible energy from the boys as they attack your ears with superb melodies and harmonies! Quite wonderful, really!!
