Description

Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab LP MFSL 1-102, Stereo, Original Master Recording, Japanese Pressing

ARTIST: The Beatles

TITLE: With The Beatles

CONDITION: Vinyl: E+; Cover: VG++, lower left corner bump, some age discoloration near opening of jacket (see photo), otherwise clean.

This is my personal copy, played once and then filed away (I was disappointed that MSFL used the stereo mix. I much prefer mono); disc therefore is near-mint.

**PLEASE** DO NOT SEND PAYMENT UNTIL YOU RECEIVE MY PERSONALIZED INVOICE.

I will invoice within 24 hours of auction closing. PLEASE IGNORE YOUR AUTOMATIC WINNING BIDDER NOTICE FROM eBAY which will not calculate multiple wins correctly.

PLEASE READ ALL TERMS AND CONDITIONS BEFORE BIDDING, AND E-MAIL IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS. Thank You.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

PAYMENT: Paypal is the only payment that I accept. Payment is requested within 3 days of auction closing; if payment is not received within 5 days I reserve the right to re-list the item and cancel your bid. Due to the COVID emergency I am restricting my shipping to one trip per week but I will try to mail your parcel within 3 days of receiving payment. I cannot offer same-day shipping.

MULTIPLE PURCHASES: I love them; they mean less packing for me and shipping savings for you. WAIT UNTIL YOU RECEIVE MY INVOICE before sending any payment for multiple purchases.

RETURN POLICY: If you are not satisfied with your purchase, PLEASE contact me before leaving feedback and I will try to address your problem fairly. I do not offer partial refunds. I will refund the auction price plus your original shipping cost on items improperly graded and returned in the original packaging within 14 days of delivery. You must pay for return shipping. The same terms apply for items damaged by the postal service in transit. I do ask that you shoot me an e-mail with a photo of the damaged record for my own insurance purposes.

SHIPPING AND HANDLING: All records that I sell are from my personal collection of 40+ years and all have been cleaned and play-tested. I will invoice you for Media Rate shipping by default but I highly recommend that you choose the Priority Mail option. Media Mail packages are subject to opening for inspection; so much for my careful packaging. In addition, these parcels seem to receive rough handling, and I myself have received broken 78s due to damage by USPS in the last few months. Priority packages seem to have a much better success rate and I hope you will protect your investment by choosing this option. Currently I have a large supply of sturdy recycled cartons to get your records to you safely, so my handling charge is a minimal $1.25 per order for other shipping supplies and delivery confirmation (this is included in my shipping fee). This handling charge is subject to change in the future.

MEDIA MAIL rate (including delivery confirmation and handling fee) for one LP or multiple 45 RPM EP set is $4.00; one 45 is $3.45. I will advise you as to costs of multiple purchases. Do not send payment until you receive my invoice for multiple purchases.

PRIORITY MAIL rate will depend upon your location (see shipping calculator). Please use the calculator only to get an idea of your final shipping costs and wait for my invoice before sending payment. I will invoice within 24 hours of auction closing.

GRADING SCALE: All grading is visual. I will try to note any discrepancies between visual grade and audio quality when possible. However, different styli will produce different results so visual grading has become the standard. I grade conservatively and have had zero complaints regarding my grading (see feedback). My EX grade would be listed as NM by many sellers.

E+: Near-mint, no visible or audible flaws; possibly unsold store stock; I use this grade very sparingly

EX: Excellent; any defects such as paper scuffs or small hairline scratches are mainly cosmetic with little or no effect on play; high gloss; generally my highest grade.

V++: Record still has most of its gloss; may have light surface scratches, paper scuffs, very light visible or audible needle wear; surface noise is negligible to most listeners and well below music level; still a collector-worthy record. Most vinyl records that I list will fall into the EX or V++ category.

VG+: Record may have any combination of light audible scratches, light scuffs and moderate needle wear; the “typical” used but not abused record; surface noise noticeable but does not overpower music level; acceptable to most collectors until the copy of your dreams comes along

VG: Above flaws are more pronounced and surface noise approaches music level; I will generally list VG records only if they are of high musical or historic value.

JACKETS: EX: No major flaws, clean, little to no cover wear, no seam splits, no writing; V++: very slight cover wear, minor seam splits or lamination creases, may have small writing on back cover; VG+: may have seam splits/repairs, typical cover wear for age, writing on front or back cover, but intact and presentable; VG: same flaws as VG+ but more pronounced; marginal
