THE BEATLES  NO 5 1976 JAPAN REISSUE MONO VINYL LP EAS-70102

Label: Apple Records – Mono EAS-70102 printed “MFD BY TOSHIBA-EMI LTD JAPAN”. 

Mono re-issue, Japan, 5 July 1976. One song on each side is sung in German, the rest of the songs are sung in English (see track listing below).

Run off numbers: side one 2 EJ-29 3S 46, side two 2 EJ-30-U 2S2. 

Illustrated wraparound paper band with Japanese characters on the front and thumbnail pictures of The Beatles' British and American album releases on the other side with issue numbers and Japanese characters. The band is tight-fitting and has no tears or creases. Included with the album is a 4-page (2 x 2 sides) leaflet featuring the song lyrics in Japanese and English and black and white pictures of The Beatles (see scans).

Apart from 2 brief audible ‘clicks’ during ‘Slow Down’ both sides play without any distortion, crackle, interruptions or jumps. I play tested them before listing.

The outer card sleeve has very slight wear at the 4 corners. The spine is firm and straight and the front and rear covers show no signs of wear or handling. 

The inner protective record sleeve is clear cellophane with the bottom edge circular corresponding with the shape of the LP whereas the top edge is straight.

The album will only be sent by Royal Mail Signed For service to ensure safe delivery.

Packaging: The LP will be enclosed in cellophane, placed in stiffened protective packaging and posted by Signed For First or Second Class Small Parcel mail (buyer's choice). Buyer pays for postage only, not for packaging or eBay fees. Due to the dimensions of the package it is designated by the Post Office as a Small Parcel and postage is priced accordingly. 

Postage: First Class £4.45 Second Class £3.95 Signed For Small Parcel. Should you win this item please do not consider leaving a lower star feedback rating for Postage and Packaging Charges. If you check the postage label/stamps on the package you will see that you were only asked to pay the actual amount charged by the Royal Mail. Where possible I utilise previously used but nevertheless secure packaging and I do not charge buyers for this. On occasions when I have to use a new packet/envelope I meet the cost myself.

Despatch: Will post to UK only. Item will be mailed within one working day of receiving payment (please check the postmark). I always obtain a Royal Mail Proof of Posting.
