Description
This is a vintage Beatles bootleg LP. NOTHING IS REAL was released in 1985 on NEMS Records and I bought my copy through the mail back then. This was when we finally started getting professional looking bootleg Beatle records often with color covers and records that often were about as good as legit pressings. Some are still amazing artifacts and stand the test of time. Most any rare Beatles tracks have gone on to be reissued on bootleg CD's, legitimate projects (better source/cleaned-up/remixed-BEATLES ANTHOLOGY), or can be found online. But, this was where we first discovered many new rarities via mail order. NONE of these ever came shrinkwrapped as long as I was buying them---EVER! DISC - Looks great (NM), only played twice BUT, I play-graded it last night. No BS or "Still Sealed"/"Don't have a record player" excuse. Despite it looking like new it IS not a legit commercial pressing/mastering job. You will hear a fairly regular amount of tics here and there. I'd rather people know what they are getting and not be sneaky.
Not a clean/quiet pressing. I imagine all of them are like this as I see no reason when holding it up to a strong light at various angles. And I am 64 and have been collecting for a LONG time. So (and many sellers would probably just eyeball it and say it was NM, but I am obsessive). Not worn or defective, looks beautiful. Check my Feedback. No surprises or excuses here. I'd say it plays VG+
COVER - Two bend traces FC only (when they inserted the discs?) and a little corner nudge o/w NM-/NM
Slight dog ear upper right. Bottom left corner bending forward some (stress marks)
Buy more than one LP and save on shipping. Have other Beatles LP's listed and will continue to grade and take photos and list. I'm a Grandpa now and have too much stuff!
