Description
I have been collecting Beatles vinyl and memorabilia for many, many years. I have now decided to downsize and sell much of my collection so keep a regular lookout for lots of Beatles items to be listed soon.
Here we have three 1973 French export / UK import pressings of Paul McCartney's first two solo albums plus the 1973 French export / UK import single 'Jet'.
Why do these exist? In 1973 EMI's UK vinyl pressing plant closed down to be upgraded and refitted with new equipment. During this relatively short period of time EMI had to shift production to another pressing plant. The one in question was the Pathe Marconi plant in France also owned by EMI.
These were pressed within that short period of time. The albums are now quite rare. They were all housed within UK made sleeves.
