THE BEATLES - PENNY LANE / STRAWBERRY FIELDS FOREVER 'Capitol P 5810'
This is a reproduction 45 rpm Promotional (Radio Station-DJ) release by The Beatles with the recordings of "Penny Lane" b/w "Strawberry Fields Forever" on Capitol Records #P 5810, yellow promo label. The Penny Lane side has the trumpet solo ending not found on the commercial copies released to the public. The vinyl on this record has nice gloss with some minor light "paper" scuffs on the A-Side. It is my personal copy I bought through the mail back in the 70's.
PLAY GRADED (No, APPEARS it is...I examine them closely and listen closely). I wish I wasn't so obsessive! NO STOCK PHOTOS!- I use GOLDMINE Grading Guidelines and I pack SECURELY! I ship discs separate from sleeve/jacket to protect the sleeves.
DISC: Side A - Superficial scuff marks top left. Plays pretty clean VG++/NM-- Side B - Hear surface noise in right speaker early on and at end. It may be from the source disc. Looks NM, cleaner than the A side (PENNY LANE). Plays VG+
SLEEVE - Vintage Capitol company sleeve from that period of the original release. Repaired tear at hole. VG
Check the images...they are of the actual items!! I am pretty obsessive. Lots of photos and scans!
