Very rare, first issue pressed, as issued with an uniique custom cover.

The 2 wonderful tunes were originally being recorded for their next album Sgt. Pepper, but the record company were pressing Brian Epstein for a new single, so they put these tracks out as soon as they could - and thus these two amazing songs didn't get included as brilliant lead tracks for the 'Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band' album!
It would have made it even more astonishing, but Penny Lane was issued as a 45 with Strawberry Fields Forever here, and the first number of UK pressings were in this custom paper sleeve.
Condition;
The VINYL is in NEAR MINT shape, TOP shine.
The LABLES are VG++ with centre intact and no stickers or tears.
'KT' tax code on the Strawberry Fields Forever centre.
The PICTURE COVER is VG with some wrinkles, a little damage at the right side.
A nice Beatles collectable!
