1963 UK fifth pressing 14-track mono LP with 'The Parlophone Co' label perimeter text & 'Recording First Published' credit, but without 'Sold In UK', front laminated Ernest J Day flipback picture sleevePMC1202)
Black and Yellow Parlophone in design with 'The Parlophone Co Ltd' perimeter & 'Recording First Published' label text.
As this is an original 1963 pressing there is no 'Sold in the UK' text across the centre of the label.
The silver text is clearly readable with no blemishes or fading & a striking yellow Parlophone logo. There are a few spindle marks around the centre hole if you look very closely - one of the few clues that this copy has actually seen a turntable!
The vinyl has retained its original shine despite being nearly fifty years old. This is highly unusual as most copies of this album were played excessively at parties during the sixties and many became damaged or badly scratched.There are some surface markings but the vinyl plays perfectly, sound quality is excellent.
The Ernest J Day front laminated flipback picture sleeve has the large block 'mono' logo on the front, wear is showing on corners and on the spine, very good condition for its age
The rear of the sleeve has not had the benefit of being protected by laminate, however it remains clean with only very small signs of discolouration.Flipbacks are intact.
Complete with 'Use Emitex' poly-lined inner.
