Description
The Beatles Please Please Me Rare German ODEON ZTOX-5550, Vinyl LP SEALED!
You are bidding on The Beatles Please Please Me pressed on the German ZTOX label. This album is STILL SEALED in the original loose-fitting plastic bag. I was able to let the inner sleeve slide out a bit inside the sealed bag for a photo and it looks like there might be LP ads on it. There are a couple of areas where the bag seams are open – see photos. Very minor corner wear - see photos. On the right side where the record slot is, these are flimsy covers and the edge is not completely perfect - see photos. I bought this album about 15 years ago from the estate of a Beatles collector. He had a foot locker filled with Beatles albums and memorabilia. In July of 2018, a sealed copy of this sold for $500 on Ebay. I found that info on “Popsike”. A lot of these pressings that I have seen on Ebay have bubbling on the vinyl but still play fine. Seems like a common Ztox trait. I have no idea since it is sealed, but I assume that the collector that gets this will leave it sealed as it will go up in value. Will ship via USPS Ground Advantage with full insurance.
From Discogs - Official German release from Odeon company. It comes from early 1964 (Maybe February or March), issued for the U.S. and G.B. soldiers that in the 1960's were stationed in West-Germany and West-Berlin after II World War.
Please let me know if you have any questions at all. Thanks so much!
