Hi, I started collecting vinyl Lp's and 45's in 1971, I have 20,000 + which I have moved now 4 times, and about to move again next year. So it's time to let at least half go. Most are in at least Excellent condition.  I can't listen to them all, so most will only have visual grading, any with a high start price, I will listen too, and play grade.

ALBUM INFO:

This is the ORIGINAL UK SEVENTH PRESS "MONO" BEATLES - PLEASE PLEASE ME.... In 1965 most people owned Dansette's or the old fashion type of Radio Grams, I don't need to tell you how many Lp's got scratched and ruined by heavy weighted arms and metal needles.  This is theSEVENTH press... Only The GOLD Please Please Me.and the first Yellow and Black cross over is Rarer. Demand this later Yellow and Black Label had slowed by 1965 and hardly ever turns up in this condition , or any reasonable condition! Especially in this kind of condition. This The Beatles first studio album, with the famous  Yellow & Black label for this classic Beatles Album. A really hard to find 7th press! A collectors dream. The cover is in stunning condition, made by Garrod & Lofthouse. and is so near mint, and you would be hard pushed to find better most sellers would list as Mint! I never list an item as Mint unless it is unplayed or sealed. This version release of the Album was issued due to all existing stock was exhausted, and the Beatles back catalog was still selling.  Most albums would be classed as 1st issue but due to the Label change six weeks after it's initial release.  

Well as you can see from the photographs this is a superb copy of The BEATLES 1965 beat album in near perfect condition! THE BEATLES - PLEASE PLEASE ME. PMC 1202 on PARLOPHONE. I've played the album on my Pioneer PL- 550X The vinyl lays flat and there are NO warps. The sound is STILL GREAT WITH NO DISTORTION OR JUMPS! there are NO pops and very if at all any background crackle but  A truly wonderful listen. The stampers are G on side 1...and G on side 2.  which is one the very first as far as I know. Even the original inner sleeve is unsplit and has just a few creases. The cover has rounded flip back corners again unique to this early run.  

The album is a masterpiece!!!  placed it at number 39 of all time British Albums by Rolling Stone Magazine. My record has no distortion and sounds clear and loud, STUNNING PLAYBACK an overall enjoyable listen!  The sleeve is laminated without any Major creasing, The Labels have a few light spindle marks. NO WRITING OR MARKS. The Vinyl is Bright and Shiney under strong light a few light marks and withdraw marks which do affect play.  An opportunity to own a Mega Rare true beat classic.

VINYL: 

EXCELLENT-. The vinyl is still bright and shows signs of being played, but judging the lack of center hole wear, There are NO deep penetrating scratches, just a few light spindle marks only visible under strong light, the main marks on the vinyl are removal mark caused by handling, I have photographed please have a look, these do not affect play.  

SLEEVE:

EXCELLENT++: . (front) Wonderfully clean laminated cover, with no laminate lift or damage, sharp edges and opening no scuffing or rubbing damage, you would be hard push to find better. (Back) White as new, somehow it has survived without picking up any staining or writing, as a lot of albums have owners names in biro on them, they were not cheap at the time at 32/- the average wage being £14 at the time. Most copies were played to death. This is in hard to beat condition.   

INNER SLEEVE:

EXCELLENT. Original EMI mid 60's standard inner sleeve, I would say it's almost like new, and consider it's 48 years old, quite unbelievable condition.  

LABELS:

Clean, no damage or writing.

AUDIO GRADING:

EXCELLENT. One of the greatest openings of all time, 1,2,3,4, SHE WAS JUST 17! Wonderful, there are so many copies which are played to death, This copy plays with both channels playing without distortion, even pristine looking copies can hide the damage distortion caused by a damaged or blunt stylus. The playback is bright and sharp with a little background crackle here and there, an exceptional playing copy, yes I listened all the way through loved it, there are NO pops or audible needle damage  but a pro-clean might help, the record is so loud in playback it does make you wonder why we started buying CD's... There are NO JUMPS, DISTORTION, OR FREQUENCIES DAMAGE.     

GRADING SYSTEM: In order to assist everyone who buys and sells rare discs, Record Collector magazine has originated a set of standards for the condition of second-hand records, I have added a (+) or (-) to my gradings where applicable.

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint. 
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. 
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump.
The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

PAYMENT:

Items must be payed for within five days. If non payment within five days, I will then instigate an Ebay ruling. I will set up a dispute and either offer it to the runner up bidder or relist.

PACKAGING: 

I use preformed and standard mailers with stiffeners. I always take the vinyl out in its inner sleeve and place on top of the cover. This is then placed into a soft protective sleeve and packaged with stiffeners for full protection.
