Made by Ernest J Day sleeve with printers credit on right hand side rear of sleeve. Front cover credited to Angus McBean.

Research estimates that only 25,000 of these were pressed.

THE VINYL

There are noticeable surface marks but they do not affect the playback.

THE SLEEVE

The front cover of the sleeve is in great condition with minor creases and only slight wear to corners.

The reverse of the sleeve has a few small stains

I have confidently rated this vinyl VERY GOOD on the Record Collectors grading system.

( Description : This record has obviously been played many times but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover without any major defects.)

This legendary first Beatles album was released on Friday 22nd March 1963 on the Parlophone label. It topped the charts on 11th May 1963 where it stayed for 30 weeks until it was knocked off the number one spot by With The Beatles.

The Beatles FIRST official L.P. release. For the ONLY time the mono version was issued 6 weeks BEFORE the stereo version.
