CONDITION

SLEEVE: (VG) FRONT LAMINATED SLEEVE PRINTED AND MADE BY ERNEST J.DAY & CO LTD . LONDON.  HAS GENERAL LIGHT WEAR FROM USE AND STORAGE WITH  SOME MILD RING WEAR TO THE BACK FROM STORAGE. NO MAJOR DAMAGE BUT THE BOTTOM RIGHT CORNER FLIPBACK HAS COME UNSTUCK AND FOLDED BACK ON ITSELF (SEE PICTURES). THIS COULD BE GLUED BUT WOULD STILL LEAVE A HEAVY CREASE. THERE ARE A COUPLE OF ISOLATED SURFACE SCUFFS TO THE FRONT AND BACK.  NO RIPS & NO SPLITS. 

SPINE: (VG) ALL THE TEXT PERFECTLY READABLE WITH MILD RUBBING TO THE TOP AND BOTTOM CORNERS. NO SPLITS.  

INNER: (EX) ORIGINAL FROSTED POLYLINED PAPER INNER SLEEVE WITH  'USE EMITEX' TEXT AND 'MADE IN ENGLAND' TEXT. NO WRITING NO RIPS NO SPLITS AND NO STICKERS. 

LABELS: (G+) BOTH LABELS ARE FREE FROM ANY UNWANTED WRITING & STICKERS BUT HAVE LOTS OF LIGHT & MILD SPINDLE MARKS AROUND THE CENTRE HOLE. SIDE 2 HAS 'K' & 'T' EMBOSSED NEAR THE CENTRE.

VINYL VISUALLY: (G+) BOTH SIDES ARE COMPLETELY FLAT AND STILL GLOSSY BUT WHEN ANGLED UNDER BRIGHT LIGHT BOTH SIDES HAVE LOTS OF LIGHT/MILD PAPER SCUFFS AND HAIRLINES WITH A COUPLE OF LIGHT & MILD SCRATCHES ON EACH SIDE. MOST OF THESE MARKS CAN BEEN SEEN IN NORMAL LIGHT BUT LUCKILY DO NOT AFFECT THE SOUND QUALITY. GENERAL WEAR FROM REGULAR USE AT TIME OF RELEASE. NOTHING DEEP AND NOTHING SERIOUS. THE VINYL MAY ALSO BENFIT FROM A PROFESSIONAL CLEAN.

PLAYING GRADE: (VG+) BOTH SIDES HAVE BEEN CAREFULLY LISTENED TO ON HEADPHONES ON A COUPLE OF SYSTEMS WITH A SHURE WHITE LABEL CARTRIDGE & STEREO NEEDLE. BOTH SIDES PLAYS AT LEAST VERY GOOD PLUS WITH NO LOSS IN SOUND QUALITY AND ONLY A COUPLE OF POPS AT THE VERY START OF SIDE 2. BOTH SIDES PLAY REALLY WELL WITH ONLY LIGHT BACKGROUND CRACKLE STATIC NOTICEABLE BETWEEN TRACKS WHEN PLAYED WITH THE TREBLE TURNED UP FULL. MY PLAY GRADE IS ALWAYS BASED ON WHAT I CAN HEAR ON BEYER-DYNAMIC DT-150 HEADPHONES WITH THE TREBLE TURNED UP FULL! A PRESENTABLE AND VERY PLAYABLE COPY!

EXTREMELY DIFFICULT TO FIND IN ANY CONDITION!!

GRADING

All records are graded using the Record Collector Grading System with (+) or (-) to show a slightly higher or lower grade.

M (Mint) : The Record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.

EX (Excellent): The Record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VG (Very Good) : The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

G (Good) : The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

F (Fair) : The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
