Catalogue Number: PMC 1202 - MONO - Ist PRESS Country of Press: UK Record Label: BLACK AND GOLD PARLOPHONE Press Date: 1963 Matrix No. Side 1: XEX 421-1N 1 RM mother / stamper Matrix No. Side 2: XEX 422-1N 1 2 GO mother / stamper Sleeve: Laminated front / flip backs / matt rear Printing Detail: Printed in England By Ernest J Day & Co Ltd, London Additional Details: Dick James Music Credits Condition: Side 1 - Vinyl Visual: VG - light to moderate marks Side 2 - Vinyl Visual: VG - light to moderate marks Side 1 - Label: VG - a faint name written against the black background Side 2 - Label: VG - a few light marks / blotches - minor Side 1 - Audio: VG - only negaaitive is a small skip a little way into track 1 - think there may be something in the vinyl but is where there is a scuff to the track - otherwise great audio throughout, just the odd light tick or pop and light crackle Side 2 - Audio: VG / EX - No negatives to speak of, just some light crackle here and there and the odd light tick - great audio throughout! Sleeve: EX - Some very light creasing to the laminated front surface. The rear is bright and clean with just some minimal age discolouration, minor. Spine and edges are near perfect. Nice copy! The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
