Description
Here we have a copy of the rare FIFTH PRESSING of the classic 1st album by THE BEATLES entitled 'Please Please Me'.It was issued in 1963 on the Parlophone label and the catalogue number is PMC 1202. The matrix numbers on the vinyl runout are XEX 421-1N GHL (Side 1) and XEX 422-1N GLO (Side 2).The record is in mono.
The record is in VG+ condition overall and would have been graded higher except for a small scratch on the last track on Side 1 which is audible for a couple of seconds.Apart from this both sides play well and the sound is sharp and clear.
There are a few small marks on the Side 2 label as shown in the photo.
The sleeve is in fair condition.There is a 12 cm tear at the bottom of the reverse side and also some wear in the corners.However,apart from this there are no major marks or blemishes and no handwriting on the sleeve.
