THE BEATLES PLEASE PLEASE ME RARER 2ND BLACK AND GOLD PRESSING - NORTHERN SONGS.
This is an auction for the rarer 2nd pressing of this most sought after lp.
The credits for " I Saw Her Standing There, Misery, Do You Want To Know A Secret and There's A Place" were corrected for the 2nd pressing for which it is researched that only 12,000 copies were pressed.
The catalogue number is PMC 1202. The matrix numbers are XEX 421-1N & XEX 422-1N.
The mother / stampers are 2-GL (side 1), and 12-GO ( side 2).

Vinyl: Hairline marks visible but plays great throughout ( no jumps or skips) with only the minor normal 60's noise which does not detract from the raw and raucous sound of this iconic lp.
Sleeve: Is the 1st cover with the beginning of the word ' Photo' under the 2nd ' S' at the end of ' Songs'. The sleeve is the Ernest J Day with the Angus McBean photo credits. However as the photo indicates the sleeve is only fair to good and In need of repair.
The lp comes with the original Emitex inner sleeve which is split at the sides.
