VERY EARLY COPY WITHOUT THE "RECORDING FIRST PUBLISHED" TEXT AND FAR MORE RARE IN STEREO!
THIS VERSION ALSO COMES WITH A GOLD SLEEVE WITH THE ANGUS MCBEAN PHOTO CREDIT TO THE FAR RIGHT!!
ALSO HAS MT TAX STAMP ON SIDE 2 LABEL.
THE ERNEST J DAY GOLD SLEEVE HAS AN EXCELLENT FRONT.IT HAS KEPT A LOVELY SHINE WITH BOLD COLOURS.SOME SLIGHT EDGE CREASING AND CORNER BUMPS,THE SPINE IS STILL SUPER SHARP WITH NO DAMAGE TO THE WORDING.THE REAR IS STILL NICE AND WHITE BUT UNFORTUNATELY THERE ARE SOME PEN MARKS AND SOME BITS OF THE BOTTOM FLIPBACK HAVE TORN AT EITHER END(SEE PHOTO).
THE THICKSET EARLY VINYL HAS KEPT A NICE SHEEN TO IT.CERTAINLY NOT OVERPLAYED.VIEWED UNDER BRIGHT HALOGEN LIGHT IT DOES HAVE SOME LIGHT HAIRLINES AND MARKS.THERE ARE ALSO SOME WISPY LINES FROM SLEEVE REMOVAL.GRADES VISUALLY VG+. THE AUDIO WAS MOSTLY CLEAR WITH NO BACKGROUND CRACKLE BUT THERE WERE A COUPLE OF SHORT RUNS OF LIGHT CLICKS AND THERE WAS A SLIGHT SKIP AT THE VERY START OF PLEASE PLEASE ME.I COULDN'T SEE THE OFFENDING MARK BUT THAT IS WHY I ALWAYS TRY TO GIVE AN AUDIO DESCRIPTION.APART FROM THE MENTIONED SMALL FAULTS THIS WAS A GREAT LISTEN.STRONG PUNCHY STEREO.
THE LABELS REMAIN BOLD WITH SOME LIGHT WEAR AROUND THE HOLE BUT NOTHING EXCESSIVE AND NO WRITING OR DAMAGE.
THE ORIGINAL EMITEX INNER HAS SOME SLIGHT AGEING.GRADES EX-.
THIS IS A RARE OPPORTUNITY TO GET A VERY EARLY STEREO RELEASE.I'M SURE THESE ARE FAR MORE SCARCE IN STEREO THAN PEOPLE THINK AND ALSO WITH A GOLD SLEEVE!
I AM BACK FROM A YEARS BREAK RENOVATING MY HOUSE TO START SELLING MY BEATLES VINYL AGAIN.I HAVE SOLD RECORDS TO THE FOUR CORNERS OF THE GLOBE AND HAVE ALWAYS GOT GREAT FEEDBACK SO YOU CAN BE CONFIDENT IN YOUR PURCHASE. HAPPY BIDDING !
Grading:
MINT: Brand new condition, no surface marks no deterioration in sound, all paperwork should be in perfect condition
Excellent: The Record shows some signs of being played, there is very little lessening of sound quality. The packaging may have very slight signs of wear and /or creasing.
Very Good: The Record has been played a number of times, but there is no major deterioration in sound quality, despite slight surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
Good; The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps some mild scratches. The cover suffers from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits and discoloration.
Fair: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise. It may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
I add a plus or minus when the item is somewhere between two grades
