THE BEATLES ~ PLEASE PLEASE ME ~ UK 4th PRESSING MONO LP PMC1202 ~ E J DAY. Condition is "Used". Dispatched with Royal Mail 1st Class.
I have graded the cover as G, there is some writing on the back cover in pen from original owner, who very kindly as added who is singing lead & backing on each track. There is some wear to edges and corners as consistent with age. No tears or rips.
The vinyl is G+and plays fine except for a jump on the intro to “I saw her standing there”
There is some crackle and surface noise again consistent with age. Some light scuff and marking on the vinyl, but nothing affecting playback.
Fourth pressing, summer 1963 – January 1964. Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. or Ernest J.Day & Co. front laminated cover, with large “mono” on front. Black label with yellow logo and silver print. “The Parlophone Co. Ltd.” printed at the start perimeter print and “Recording first published 1963?. Tracing-paper-lined “Use Emitex” die-cut inner sleeve. With or without KT tax code on the label. Matrix numbers: Side 1: XEX 421-1N; Side 2: XEX 422-1N.
