Description

The Beatles "The Platinum Series Beatles Collection" [17] LP Box Set - Capitol Records (USA) (1984) ...This auction is for a very rare, 17 LP Box Set. This special, limited release was originally issued only as a gift, at the introduction of Capitol Records commercial line of computer software in 1984. This exclusive set was manufactured in very small numbers and was only given to Capitol executives and close friends of the company, in celebration of the launch of Capitol’s Data Systems Division.

 The outer record slipcase is silver with black print stating "Compliments of Capitol Data Systems a Division of Capitol Records." The LP’s are all U.S. pressings [with purple Capitol labels].
