EARLIEST EVER DICK JAMES incorrect CREDITS TO 4 TRACKS !!!!!
(later release changed to NORTHERN SONGS)
On 8th March, when George Martin typed up the running order sheet for "PLEASE PLEASE ME", he mistakenly credited 4 songs(*) as being published by the Dick James Co.This is the list that went to the printers, from which the first incorrect batch of labels was made, for both the mono and stereo pressings.

CONDITION
The Vinyl grades as NEAR MINT
The record has ONLY A FEW VERY LIGHT hairlines under a strong light not deep or feel able at all, they do not effect the Audio at all, which is almost PERFECT,Clear and bright. No skips ,pops, NO background crackle evident throughout, Tiniest crackle only evident at start of side one not even audible between tracks.
Obviously been played very few times, possibly less than 10 times in 55 years inc my TWO test plays (couldn't believe how good it was !!! so played again to double check) AMAZING AUDIO and still retains a clean glossy rainbow sheen finish. ABSOLUTELY SUPERB !!!!!!!!
I believe with a professional clean (which I do not have access to) this vinyl would be the best version I have ever heard audio experience wise , from this holy grail of Beatles Vinyl collecting. ULTRA RARE IN THIS CONDITION !!!
Gold labels are EXCELLENT Clean and fully legible, minimal centre hole wear, a couple of spindle trails only visible under a strong light, NO writing, scuffs scratches at all (See Pictures)
The Outer Sleeve with the famous very First Angus McBean 5 mm from far right credit on front (unlike some others ive seen recently trying to masquerade as true first sleeves) grades as EXCELLENT+. Still retains nice clean laminate shine with no damage and very nice overall. Spine clearly and fully legible still.
The smallest flipback damage at bottom only , but generally clean and bright on the middle section with just age related foxing. A true first ever press sleeve in lovely clean condition which the vinyl itself deserves, SIMPLY SUPERB !!!!!!
Original Polylined Emitex Inner grades as EXCELLENT+ with no issues at all CLEAN AND BRIGHT WITH HANDLING CREASING ONLY. LOVELY !!!!
IN CONCLUSION, THE BEST TRUE FIRST EVER COPY IVE OWNED OR EVER SEEN IN 40 YEARS OF COLLECTING BEATLES VINYLS, A RARE OPPORTUNITY TO PURCHASE THIS IN SUCH AMAZING CONDITION !!!!!
