Description

The Beatles first album from 1963. This is a rare first press with the black and gold Parlophone labels and the Dick James credits. This copy has been used A LOT.
MTZ tax code.

Sleeve: This comes with the original sleeve with the Angus McBean credit to the far right, starting under the second "s" in "songs". There is damage to the sleeve in many places. The top and bottom right corners both have part of the photo missing. There is so much tape holding this together! The lower flipback at the rear has half of it missing. The sleeve is in Fair condition. It is just about still together and parts of it are actually really clean.
Record: The record plays through with no skips or jumps on my turntable. It is very crackly and has lots of visible marks on both sides. However, it has that great authenticity about it and when turned up you can still really enjoy the music. I would rate it as Good as per the Record Collector grading system.
Audio sample can be provided if requested.
Record Collector: G The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches.
See photos as they are an integral part of the description. All records are sold as seen.
Runouts: Side A: XEX 421-1N   O Side B: XEX 422-1N   R
