Description
This auction is for an original 45 rpm release (1964) by The Beatles with the Top 40 (#3) recordings of "Please Please Me" b/w "From Me To You" on Vee Jay Records #581. If you collect Beatles 45 rpm records, then you know that this record was released with many different label variations. This one has the black label with perimeter colorband, Vee Jay logo in brackets. The song title print has thinner lettering with the "VJ" prefix printed before the record number at the bottom. The record has glossy vinyl with a few minor light scuff marks. Playback is excellent, nice sound and vocals, no background static. The edge of the record has a tiny pressing error warp ("bump") that causes the tonearm to move up and down when passing over it, but it is brief, lasting only a few seconds before flattening out. The labels are clean. Please view photos for overall label condition. Record gets a VG+ grade, but visually, looks better than that.
