THE BEATLES - PLEASE PLEASE ME. Parlophone Records PCS 3042 UK Stereo LP 1963. ORIGINAL 8th PRESSING (Matrix: YEX 94-1 ML 2 / YEX 95-1 MT 1) ON BLACK/SILVER "THE GRAMOPHONE CO LTD" ONE BOXED EMI LOGO LABEL WITH LAMINATED FLIPBACK "Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd." SLEEVE AND ORIG "ADD THESE OUTSTANDING LPs" EMI PAPER INNER. Condition: VG(light storage wear, 3cm tear to bottom right flipback)/G+(lots of light surface marks, spindle wear, it's been heavily played but not abused).
Eighth UK release (Pressed November 1969 - 1970) of the first Beatles album with "Photo: Angus McBean" aligned to the end of the g on "12 other songs". This "One Box EMI" label is considered by collectors as the very last press of the original 60's Stereos. These pressings will go up in value shortly as they used the same Mother Stamper Matrix and thickness of vinyl as all the 60's pressings before.
