Description
Offered here is this very collectable and rare 1st "MONO" Pressing of The Beatles, Please, Please Me Vinyl Lp Record. Made in Australia in October 1963 with Cat no - PMCO-1202. The record is in Acceptable Condition, side 1 has a scratch which skips on 2 tracks, side 2 plays very well and the sleeve is in Acceptable Condition with small tear near opening and creases. Please see Photos.
"This is the first pressing in Australia. Manufacture credit on label will read at the bottom of the label around the circumference as "MADE IN AUSTRALIA FOR THE PARLOPHONE CO. LTD. SYDNEY, N.S.W." There is no mention of E.M.I."
The rear cover has only one Mono cat. no. top right. No Stereo release existed at this point.
