Description
The Beatles 1st press LP with rare black and gold Parlophone labels - has the Dick James mucic credits, correct E J Day sleeve, Angus McBean credit to the far right and unusual M Z T tax code embossed on the A side (see photo).
I am selling this to raise money to buy my Son a new guitar (see link below).

You would do very well indeed to find a nicer copy of this anywhere, they just don't turn up in this condition very often.
Record no: PMC 1202, titled: Please please me. Dated 1963.
Matrix nos: XEX 421 1N and XEX 422 1N. Stampers: A and GR.

The outer E J Day laminated flipback sleeve is in excellent condition with just a little light ringwear to the edges (not much), there is a little minor and light wear to the edges of the flipbacks (nothing much at all), there is a light dirt mark on the rear and the rear opening edge (nothing much and not that dirty) and the bottom front edge has a few small and light creases, this is still nice and clean, has a clean rear, flipbacks intact, has good solid edges and has a good readable spine.................................The solid vinyl is in excellent condition, with few signs, has just a few light surface marks, nothing much or serious (I have cleaned and played this and it plays really well - like new, is completely flat, with just one minor pop to near the end of the 1st track on the B side (does not stick or jump) and there is just a touch of very light and quiet background crackle between a couple of songs, I would say 99.9% of this plays superbly well) and this still has a nearly new sheen, the gold and black Parlophone record labels are superbly clean and readable (M Z T tax code embossed on the A side) with the centres showing minimal spindle wear and this comes in its original Emitex polylined diecut inner which is excellent...................Overall a really, really nice example and whoever gets this will not be disappointed........................
