Description

The Beatles mono vinyl album.
Not sure which pressing this is, pretty sure it's from 1963, has the E J Day sleeve, "recording first published" and no ""sold in the UK" text. M T tax code embossed on the B side.
Matrix nos: 1N & 1N
Please note: The majority of this still plays really well, everything is clear and audible and still sounds really good, plays way better than it looks, does have some minor issues, see below:
None of the vinyl sticks or jumps.
A side: GD+, Has light crackle in quite a few places, does not seem to detract from the power of the songs though. Some crackle between tracks.
B side: VG, Has a couple of very minor clicks to two tracks, light crackle between tracks.
Record no: PMC 1202. Titled: Please please me. Date: 1963. Tracks: See photos.
The outer E J Day laminated flipback sleeve is in excellent condition, with some light ringwear to the edges, has some small creases to the front and rear laminated edges and spine edges, just a couple of small half moon laminate creases to the front opening edge, the rear is ever so slightly grubby as are the rear flipbacks and the tips of the corners have some scuffing, this is still quite clean, flipbacks are intact and has a good readable spine.
The vinyl is in GD+VG condition with some signs of play, has a fair few light surface marks and does show quite a few light scratches, (see above for how it plays) and this still has a reasonable sheen, the Parlophone record labels are clean and readable showing some spindle wear, comes in an Emitex polylined diecut inner which is fine.
Overall and despite how it looks, a well played but still playable example.
This will be sent 1st class signed for in a record mailer.
Postage will be less than stated if going to Europe.
