Description

This is a relisting owing to a slip up which has changed a part of the first description.  Also, judging by the interest in it, and the precision with which I now realise I should have listed it, I thought it best to start again.  CLEAN COPY OF THIS GREAT AND RARE BEATLES ALBUM AND BOX SET WITH BOOK.  THE BOOK HOLDER HAS TWO TEARS (MENDED) TO THE CORNERS.  THERE IS A GREEN APPLE ON THE REAR OF THE ALBUM.

***  CAT NUMBER PCS 7096   ***

COVER:   VERY GOOD (THE FOLD IN FLAPS ARE A LITTLE WORN AND CREASED, BUT DON'T SHOW WHEN CLOSED, OF COURSE. THERE IS MINIMAL OTHER CREASING)

DISC:       EXCELLENT (BUT UNPLAYED BY ME)

BOOK:     VG   (WOULD BE ALMOST PRISTINE BUT FOR A SMALL ACCIDENT WHICH HAS TAKEN THE COVER AWAY FROM THE SPINE.  IT'S STILL HOLDING FIRM AT THE BACK, BUT COMES AWAY WHEN YOU OPEN THE FRONT COVER)

** 1970 **  ALSO CONTAINS ORIGINAL APPLE RECORDS FLYER.

THESE GRADINGS ARE USUALLY VISUAL, UNLESS STATED, AND FOLLOW THE RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING SYSTEM.   IF YOU'RE UNFAMILIAR WITH THIS PLEASE LOOK CAREFULLY AT THE ENCLOSED INFORMATION:

Grading System

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump.
The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.

THIS HAS BEEN PLAYED ONLY A FEW TIMES.  I KNOW THE PERSON WHO WANTS ME TO SELL IT FOR HER.   PLEASE NOTE THAT I'M ALSO SELLING OTHER GREAT ALBUMS (INC. BEATLES) IN THE NEXT MONTH OR SO.

I'M KIND OF PROUD OF MY LONGSTANDING 100% RECORD ON EBAY.  I CAN PROMISE THAT ALL RECORDS ARE GRADED CAREFULLY AND HONESTLY, THOUGH MOST HAVE NOT BEEN PLAYED OWING TO TIME CONSTRAINTS, THOUGH ALL HAVE BEEN ZAPPED WITH A PROFESSIONAL LIQUID CLEANING SOLUTION.  THIS MEANS THAT IF YOU THINK MY VISUAL GRADING ISN'T ACCURATE PLEASE CONTACT ME BEFORE LEAVING NEGATIVE FEEDBACK.

I ALWAYS PICK UP A PROOF OF POSTING SO I CAN HELP YOU FIND OR GET A REFUND ON YOUR ITEM IN THE UNLIKELY EVENT OF IT GOING ASTRAY.  BUT I'M NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY USELESS OR LIGHT FINGERED POSTMEN WHO WANT TO SPIRIT YOUR PURCHASE AWAY.    **  REMEMBER, DEAR OLD DEKE WON'T LET YOU DOWN  **  ASK MY WIFE.  ON SECOND THOUGHTS, ASK MY SON  **
