MY RATING CHART
Factory Sealed: self-explanatory
Near Mint (NM): A near perfect, possibly unplayed record with one or two visible but inaudible minor defects (no obvious sign of wear). The jacket should have no creases, folds, seam splits, cut-outs or any other noticeable similar defect.
Very Good Plus (VG+): Record surfaces may show signs of slight usage wear – slight scuffs or very light scratches that only minimally affect the sound. Jackets, sleeves and covers may have some slight wear and a cut-out hole.
Very Good (VG): Record surfaces show obvious signs of usage wear – scuffs and light scratches. There will be the possibility of some audible surface noise between tracks or during soft passages – not seriously effecting listening enjoyment. Jackets, sleeves and covers may have more obvious wear.
Very Good Minus (VG-): Record surfaces show significant wear and marks and usually quite noticeable surface noise. Jackets, sleeves and covers will show much usage wear but no extremely serious defects.
Good (G): Record surfaces will contain many scratches and much wear. The record will play through without skipping but will include a lot of surface noise. Jackets, sleeves and covers will include considerable wear and possibly damage – spits, tape, writing, ring wear, etc.
Poor / Fair: Awful
