Description
I have collected records since I was very young, however Iincreasingly I have realised that I have far too many, and soI have been slowly trying to rationalise my extensive collection over the years, I have sold many major rarities over the years, from major BEATLES and 60s rarities, through PUNK and PROG ROCK, CLASSICAL and BLUES. Basically I've had alot of very rare records and in dribs and drabs have sold them off. I've never had negative feedback, and had many repeat customers.
I will only post completely insured and tracked.

Here we have a wonderful addition to any Beatles collector's collection. As most collectors know, long before The Beatles had recorded Love Me Do at Abbey Road, they had actually recorded a few sides with Tony Sheridan in Hamburg, only one of these was actually released inthe UK "My Bonnie", but whilst the Beatles releases started to gain fever pitch,Polydor (who owned the recordings) were quick to capitalise, and rereleased My Bonnie, followed by Why/Cry For A Shadow and Ain't She Sweet/ If You "Love"(actually "Leave") Me Baby. These are great tracks and did sell, but comparatively poorly without the complicit advertisement from the boys themselves, and the sound was clearly set firmly in their "cutting their teeth reinventing cover versions"gear,rather than the dizzy heights of pretty much reinventing UK songwriting original material! Therefore most Beatles fans stayed away from these releases, great though they are.
Here is their first Polydor single "My Bonnie" b/w "The Saints",both tracks have Tony Sgeridan on lead vocals, but the backing band and vocals are unmistakably THE BEATLES! This is a piece of rock and roll history! Without oneavid buyer isisting on Brian Epstein ordering a copy of this title, there would arguably have been no Beatles! But I digress...
Record Condition: VG+ Really nice record,really well looked after, when angled under strong, direct light,a few light surface marks become visible, but nothing to detract audibly. Really beautiful audio of this incredibly important record! Spot on!
Labels Condition: VG (actually much higher, but for "Dia" being neatly written on the B-side label). Really crisp and clean original orange UK Polydor Scroll Labels. Completely free from stains/tears/abrasions, really wonderfully looked after! Nice and crisp!
Lovely Original UK Polydor Jazzband sleeve correct to the release too! How fantastic!
