ORIGINAL PARLOPHONE YELLOW LABEL 1966 FIRST PRESS WITH SIDE 2 MATRIX NUMBER " XEX 606-1 " ! NICE AND RARE VERY EARLY PRESS OF THIS MASTERPIECE WITH THE INFAMOUS MIX 11 OF THE ULTIMATE PSYCHEDELIC TRACK " TOMORROW NEVER KNOWS " .
I RECORDED IT ENTIRELY ON THE PINK SAMPLER . THE REST OF THE LP IS ON THE OTHER SAMPLER .
THE VINYL IS VISUALLY VG AND PLAYS VG+ . THE ONLY MOMENT WITH A NOTICIABLE CLICK IS THE FIRST HALF OF ELEANOR RIGBY . I RECORDED THE FULL LP SO YOU MAKE YOURSELF AN IDEA . THE MIX 11 LOOKS AND PLAYS VG+ AT LEAST .
NICE ORIGINAL MONO SLEEVE , PATENT PENDING , FLIPBACK , GARROD & LOFTHOUSE , NICE SPINE , FRONT LAMINATED . VG+ CONDITION .
" This very rare mono mix of “Tomorrow Never Knows” sounds even crazier than the common version heard as the final track on Revolver. Producer George Martin made a last minute call to replace this mix (mono re-mix #11) with an earlier mix (mono re-mix #8) for the mono edition of the album. However, during only the first day of UK pressing, a small few had already been manufactured before he ordered the change. All but these first few British mono first pressings of Revolver contained the earlier and now common re-mix # 8. The standard mono and stereo mixes of this track are quite similar to each other, however this mix has a louder vocal track by John, heard more clearly over the effects. The fade-out is also slightly longer on this version and there is some piano heard in the fade-out that is not apparent on the common versions. The effects are also faded up a bit differently. this track, composed by John Lennon, saw the Beatles plunging deeper into their new founded era of psychedelia." THANKS TO BEATLES RARITY.COM

Very nice copy VG+= Record has noticeable marks, Light surface scratches and may play with some very light noise, but doesn't overpower the music, Still very enjoyable. VG= Record has noticeable marks and scratches, plays with noise
